Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
NicePublish is for publishing your own content to Facebook Pages you are authorized to manage. This policy describes what is not allowed, so the Service stays trustworthy for everyone — including the people who follow your Pages.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses NicePublish, including through the API and client connect links. It is in addition to Meta's Terms of Service, Community Standards and Page policies, which you must also follow.
1. Prohibited uses
You must not use NicePublish to do, or help anyone else do, any of the following.
Content you don't own or lack permission for
- Publishing text, photos, videos or other material you don't own or don't have permission to share.
- Copying or reposting other creators' or other Pages' posts, photos or videos without their permission.
- Publishing content collected by scraping Facebook or other websites.
- Infringing copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights, or violating anyone's privacy or publicity rights.
Spam and manipulation
- Spam, including high-frequency, bulk or repetitive posting, and posting the same or nearly the same content over and over.
- Misleading content, clickbait, engagement bait (for example "like if you agree", "share to win" schemes that break Meta's rules) and fake news or deliberate misinformation.
- Inauthentic behaviour: fake Pages, impersonating people, brands or organisations, coordinated networks of Pages used to mislead, or artificially inflating engagement.
Harmful or illegal content
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or content that promotes or glorifies violence.
- Adult sexual content, or any content that sexualises minors.
- Promoting or selling illegal goods or services, or regulated goods in breach of the law or Meta's policies.
- Scams, fraud, phishing, deceptive offers, pyramid schemes or get-rich-quick schemes.
- Malware, links to malicious software, or attempts to compromise devices or accounts.
- Anything else that is unlawful or that violates Meta's Community Standards.
Misuse of access and the Service
- Connecting or posting to Pages you aren't authorized to manage.
- Circumventing Meta's or NicePublish's limits — for example daily posting limits, duplicate-post protection or rate limits — including by creating multiple accounts.
- Using NicePublish to collect, harvest or export data from Facebook, beyond viewing the analytics and comments NicePublish provides for your own connected Pages.
- Reselling or sub-licensing access to NicePublish, or managing Pages for third parties at scale, without a plan that includes clients or the API (Growth or Scale).
- Interfering with the Service: probing, scanning or testing its vulnerabilities without permission, overloading it, or accessing it other than through our interface and documented API.
- Sharing API keys publicly or using someone else's account or keys.
2. Built-in safeguards
To help you stay within these rules, NicePublish applies per-Page daily posting limits based on your plan and blocks identical posts to the same Page within 24 hours. These safeguards don't replace your own responsibility for what you publish.
3. Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been violated, we may, at our discretion and depending on the severity:
- remove or cancel scheduled content, or ask you to remove published content;
- disconnect affected Pages or revoke API keys;
- suspend or terminate your account, without refund where the violation is serious or repeated;
- report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities, and cooperate with Meta where required by its platform rules.
Where appropriate we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Meta may also take its own action on your Pages or Facebook account under its policies; that is outside our control.
4. Reporting abuse
If you think someone is using NicePublish in breach of this policy — for example to post your content without permission — email [email protected] with links to the content and a short description. We review every report. You can also report content directly to Facebook using the reporting tools on the post or Page.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service and Meta's rules evolve. We will post the updated version here and update the date at the top.
