Data deletion instructions

Last updated: October 3, 2026

You can remove your data from NicePublish at any time. Choose whichever option suits you below — you don't need to contact us for options 1–3.

1

Disconnect a Page

In NicePublish, go to Dashboard → Pages and click Disconnect next to the Page.

This deletes the Page's access token immediately and cancels its scheduled posts. NicePublish can no longer publish to or read from that Page. Posts already published on Facebook stay on Facebook unless you delete them there.

2

Delete your NicePublish account

Go to Dashboard → Settings and choose Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm with your password.

This permanently deletes your account and all of its data: connected Pages and their tokens, your Facebook connection, posts and schedules, clients, uploaded media, insights and API keys. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first from the billing page.

3

Remove NicePublish from Facebook

You can do this even if you don't have a NicePublish account — for example if you connected your Page through a link from an agency or platform.

  1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Go to Business integrations (for some accounts this is called Apps and websites).
  3. Find NicePublish and click Remove.
  4. To have your data deleted as well, send the data deletion request that Facebook offers (you can also do this later from the list of removed integrations).

Removing NicePublish stops its access straight away: Facebook notifies us and we delete the access tokens. When you send a data deletion request, Facebook notifies us automatically and we delete the data we obtained through your authorization — the access tokens, the information about your connected Pages and the posts and insights stored for them. Facebook then shows you a confirmation code.

You can check the status of a request at any time at https://nicepublish.com/data-deletion/status/<your code>.

Email us

Send a deletion request to [email protected] from the email address on your account, or include the name of the Facebook Page concerned. We may ask you to verify that you control the account or Page. We handle requests within 30 days and confirm by email when they're done.
